I'm so lazy. I keep promising art or SOMETHING but yeah. Got nothin'.
So I'm going to try to draw something at least once a week, because maybe something will eventually crop up here and maybe I won't be that awkward person that hangs out on a website and does absolutely nothing. XD

I love writing these because I read over them and I sound so derpy, it's fantastic. 8D

....Felt like updating. So umm...hi? It's been a while since I posted anything, hasn't it?

So. Super super busy with school! Who knew honors classes would eat my time so much (besides well, anyone whose been in those classes). Ahaha, I've had NO time to draw or anything.
Except I'm extremely excited cause now I have the full version of opencanvas. No more 30-day trials of different softwares for me!! So so soooooo happy.
Also, was reading The Hunchback of Notre-Dame. I do not recommend. It's a great story in all but OH MY GOODNESS Victor Hugo rambles more than I do. He's taken hundreds of pages just to ramble. Just look up the story on sparknotes or watch one of the loads of movies or something (but not the Disney one. It's rife with innaccuracy and I really don't know why they tried to Disney-fy that because WOW it's really not for kids). I'm also reading Lord of the Flies in class. It...is interesting. And a little creepy. But interesting.
So yeah. I just felt like updating this. That's all.

     This group is designed as support for the Hats and Hair for Kids who Care Charity. The founder of the charity is Chase Burch who had brain cancer and decided to help others while she was being treated at St. Jude's Research Hospital. She saw that the scariest part about having cancer was the hair loss due to chemotheropy. Wigs were expensive and itchy. She then got an idea. Take regular baseball caps and put a hair clip on it to make it look like a ponytail.
     The charity has expanded with her handing out hundreds of hats for all child and teen paitients. She is now five years cancer free.
     This is where we can help. Designing hats. You don't have to be the best artist to design hats. All it takes is a simple baseball cap with an opening on the back so they can put the hair on. These kids range in all ages, so keep in mind interests and appropriateness. The main theme behind the attitude f the children who receive the hats is "hope".  Hope is so strong within the walls of St. Jude, so let that idea ring out.  Let art make a difference in children's lives and help out by donating your designed hats!
